Hey Shannah,

Yes, two hops in one week! This time you have a chance to win some fabulous Melissa Jenkins images from High Hopes! Check out this little fantasy land called Toadstool Buggies below!
How’s that for a colorful garden? I love these whimsical mushrooms and flowers. The image was stamped twice and colored with Copics with parts of the image being cut from the second stamped image and popped up over the original. Below you can see dimension.
I used Stickles glitter on the mushrooms and purple flowers and on the bee’s wings. I used a Sakura Star Dust pen to add sparkle to the flight trails from the bee’s and Dimensional Pearls in the flower centers. I used some tiny flat backed self adhesive pearls from Kaiser on the random dots in the image. The floral paper is from Chatterbox, sigh, I miss that paper! I am not sure where the polka dot is from, it was a scrap. It’s finished with a piece of pink ribbon and a couple of paper roses from Prima.
Okay, you should have arrived here from Sirpa and next you will hop on over to AmyW. Make sure you leave a comment on every blog in the hope in order to be in the running for the prize which is two stamps of your choice from this new release!

My color combo today is brought to you by the Color Throwdown hosted this week by Broni.
I stamped and colored this adorable puppy with Copic markers. I had not one, not two, but three, yes three Copics up and dry out on me and they are some of my heavily used colors that I never got around to getting the refills for. Made the entire challenge even that much more challenging for me this week! Check out the great samples over at the Color Throwdown and play along with challenge #97!
Make sure you visit the High Hopes blog to see the amazing samples this week! You’re gonna love these new images! More sneaks coming this week and another Blog Hop on Friday to win some of these great stamps! Have a happy hump day!

It’s another sneak peek from the High Hopes Dustin Pike line. Today I have this cutie called Hangin’ Around.
The image is colored with Copics and the leaves and cattail were stamped again, colored, and cut out and popped up on the main image. The cattail is all sparkly with Copper Stickles too. I used Spellbinders Nesties to cut the image and matt and sentiment panel. The patterned paper is from K & Co. Actopus to Zelephant and I added some fun trim and a coupled of gems to the sentiment. He’s just so stinkin’ cute, ain’t he? LOL!
Make sure you visit the High Hopes blog and see all the latest samples from the awesome design team! There’s more new and fantastic stuff headed your way…keep your eye out!

You should have arrived here from Sarah and you now hop on over to AmyL!!
Hello and welcome to High Hopes Challenge #79. I am your hostess this week and I want you to make a Father’s Day or masculine card.
I used Peg Leg Pete and On Guard Omberto. After stamping Peg Leg Pete I masked the image and then stamped Omberto to add him into the scene. They are both colored with Copics. I computer generated the statement for both inside and out. The patterned paper is from the Rusty Pickle.
Here’s a look inside. I couldn’t flip the card entirely back as the outside sentiment extends over the top. This will be for my husband from our two boys. I told my 4 year old, Sean, that Omberto was him (since his ears stick out bit, lol) but he informed me that he’s the Captain, ha!
Please head over to the High Hopes blog and play along with us this week! We love to see you cards and projects! You can find High Hopes stamps at the stores listed below! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

A really quick post today…it’s challenge #71 over at High Hopes and it’s to use two or more High Hopes images not including a sentiment. I pulled out some of my old favorites here!
I used Walkabout Wally and Stanley Snake and Jungle Leaf Corner which were all colored with Copics. The jungle leaves were cut out and popped up and the sentiment edges distressed and dressed with a bit of twine. The patterned paper is from the Archaic line by Basic Grey.
Pop on over to the High Hopes blog and join in this weeks challenge. We love to see your creations and you have a chance to win a fabulous prize! Enjoy today!
Good morning and Happy Easter!! Today challenge #70 from High Hopes is being hosted by Jeannette and she wants to challenge you to anything BUT a card!
I used Fast Eddie again as I thought he was fitting for Easter! I used a clear container that I kept from a prior use...I knew it would come in handy one day! I put a strip of Imaginisce paper around the center and adhered an image of Fast Eddie which I stamped and colored with Copics, cut out, and ran through my Xyron. I used flock on his ears, belly, and eye brows, and Marvy Liquid Applique on his tail. I put a circle of another piece of Imaginisce paper on the top and cut flowers using a Sizzix Bigz die using various scraps and a giant brad for the center.
The sentiment was stamped and cut out with an oval and scallop oval SU punch and attached with a piece of floral wire that I curled first. I would have filled this with candy, which I will do today, but I couldn’t chance the kids finding this…they still think the Easter Bunny brings their goodies!
Have a very Happy Easter today and please head over to the High Hopes blog and see all the wonderful projects today!
This week our High Hopes hostess is Lacey and she wants to see an Easter or Spring theme, or anything that hops. I think I have combined all three with this image.
I used Posing Bunny with these eggs here and here and the Jelly Bean sign. After stamping the bunny I masked her and stamped the eggs and the sign. They are all colored with Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment and punched it out with an oval and a scallop oval frame. I used two sizes of flower punches on patterned paper and a brad to make the flower. The sentiment and flowers are inked with Brilliance Orchid Opalescence. There is Stickles in various colors on the eggs and the bunny’s chest and tail are treated with Flower Soft in Ivory.
So hop on over to the High Hopes blog and play along! We love to have you join us and there’s always a chance to win some great stamps! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
Welcome to another weekly challenge from High Hopes. This week your hostess Amy L is asking for you to use an image with wings…butterflies, angels, birds, anything that has wings. I chose to use Warm Wishes image of a winged dragon.
The image is colored with Copics and his wings, flames, and various spots on his body are sparkly with Stickles and glitter applied with a Quickie Glue Pen. I used patterned paper from My Minds Eye, a small mat pad in the Home line that I picked up last week at Michaels. I hand wrote the sentiment and added it under some Prima flowers that I layered with a brad.
Join us over at High Hopes and play along with this weeks fun challenge. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out with Nestabilitie dies. The orange card stock is Prism and the brown card base is PTI. The fun patterned paper is from K & Company, Actopus to Zelephant. After coloring the image I used Marvy Liquid Applique on all the foaming bubbles and Diamond Glaze on the single bubbles.
Good morning! This week our hostess Sirpa has requested a recipe: 3 Flowers, 3 Buttons, and 3 design papers.
Here I’ve used Dwight from Dustin Pikes collection at High Hopes. He’s stamped on Neenah Solar Crest White Ultra Smooth Cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The bubble I coated with Diamond Glaze which gave it shine and dimension.
I used three flowers from Prima and coordinated the buttons to match. They are threaded with a piece of rustic twine. The red mat paper is Bo Bunny Dot and the two other design paper’s are from the Green Stack by Die Cuts with a View.
Make sure you come visit the High Hopes blog to see all of the great samples and play along! There is always a great prize! Have a great day!

This week the High Hopes challenge is Valentines as requested by Michelle. I was more than happy to use this adorable image called Snuggle Lions which I haven’t pulled out since last Valentine’s Day. The image was colored with Copics and then Prismacolor pencils and oms . The edges of the panel are sponged with Distress Ink in Tea Dye and stitched to the flip side of this fantastic floral paper from Fancy Pants.
I was eager to make another of these fluffy paper flowers and this time I used pink tissue paper-about 16 layers. I folded it several times before punching it and crinkling each layer created a very full flower. I added a small pink button in the center and then sprayed the finished flower with Glimmer Mist in Sugar Cookie. It toned down the pink and added some sparkle. Then I added several sprigs of leaves I punched with an EK Success punch.
Please join us this week and create a Valentine theme card or project. You have a chance to win Troubled Travis! Have a great Sunday!
I've used two more of Dustin Pike's new images from the recent release. They are colored with Copics, the monkey with Prismacolor Pencils and oms overtop. Both the top and bottom of the cupcake were paper pieced and the sprinkles were coated with Liquid Pearls. The balloon was also coated over with Crystal Effects and the party hat pompom on the fish was flocked. The paper is from The Sweet Stack from DCWV and the ribbon from PTI.
This unfortunate dragon is called Troubled Travis...and he did seem to get into a bit of trouble! The image is stamped on Neenah Solar Crest White Ultra Smooth card stock and colored with Copics. I used my Copic blender to give texture to his skin...if you look close you can see the dots I clustered together to give him bumpy rough skin. Click on the photo for a close up! I sponged around the outside of the panel with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo (around the sentiment too) and layered him up on a piece of patterned paper from Basic Grey's Archaic line. It's finished with layered buttons and rustic twine on ribbon all from PTI.
Your next stop on the hop is Jeanne! Make sure you follow the hop from beginning to end leaving a comment at each stop. There will be four blogs chosen at random, with a winner chosen from the comments for some fabulous prizes, but the catch is that the chosen ones must have commented on each of the Diva's blogs! You could win the entire new release! Visit High Hopes to see all of the new images!
So what are you waiting for? Get hoppin'!!
I colored up this adorable Zappin Zeke with Copics. The background is stamped twice, once on white with the landscape colored up, and once on navy card stock on which the colored landscape was layered. Before the layering I sprayed the navy with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. Then I bleached the stars to lighten them up so I could apply Shimmerz in Marigold. Each of the planets was colored on white and added to the navy sky as well as Zappin Zeke who is popped up on the front of the scene.
I was hoping I could capture the shimmer in a closeup but it was really hard to do with this image. The alien is also painted with Shimmerz in Green Olive over the Copics. These images are so much fun to color and there are endless scenes and themes you can create with them! Head on over to the High Hopes blog and check out all the Diva's sneak peeks today! See you tomorrow!!
Here's another fun image that I stamped on Neenah Solar Crest White Ultra Smooth card stock and colored with Copics. The kitty's goggles and fish bowl are coated with Crystal Effects and before coating the bowl I went over the water and bubbles with Waterfall Stickels. I added shading around the image using Prismacolor pencils and oms. The sentiment was stamped in black and clear embossed and the finishing touch is a button with a rustic twine bow. It's all layered on design paper from the Pet Stack from Die Cuts With a View.
I stamped all of the images on Neenah Solar Crest White Ultra Smooth card Stock and colored them with Prismacolor pencils and oms. The moon and star are cut out and popped up as well as the sentiment. I glittered up the moon and star with Stickels and used my Quickie Glue pen and lots of sparkly prism glitter all around the aliens. It's all mounted on a piece of Cosmo Cricket from the Cogsmo line and finished with a piece of velvet ribbon, velvet star brads, and some self stick gems.
