This week at High Hopes the challenge is to add texture. I chose to use this adorable bunny named Fast Eddie from artist Dustin Pike.
After coloring the image with Copics I used Martha Stewart pink flock for his ears, nose, and belly. It gives it nice texture while still allowing the coloring and shading underneath to show through.
His tuft of hair, eyebrows, and tail were treated with Marvy Liquid Applique.
I used Prism card stock for all matting and the card base as well as the grass which was cut with a MS punch. I stitched the medium green mat to the card base with green thread. I then stamped, colored, and cut out the Jelly Bean sign and some Easter eggs and popped them up. I used some Flowersoft in Pale Green and Shamrock Green to add some fluff around the eggs.
Visit us on High Hopes to see all of the designs teams awesome work this week! Play along with us to have a chance to win a great stamp too! Have a great weekend!
