Color Throwdown #36

It's Wednesday again and you know what that means! For this weeks challenge we are supporting the Our Craft Lounge challenge using Orange, Turquoise, and Pink. Wow, that's not easy for me!

Broni supplied me with these adorable stamped images and I was so excited to create this scene for them with the rolling hills that I forgot about the colors I was supposed to use! I had to disassemble the finished card and add in the organge mat and change out the button since I had no orange on the card. I already has flowers colored in pink and turquoise so I added a dozen tiny flowers to the hills to add in some more of it.

The hills are from Bazzill dot embossed paper which is stitched with a variegated green thread. The sky is PTI that I sponged the clouds onto with Brilliant Frost White and a cloud template.

Both the dragonfly and bee's wings are coated in Diamond Glaze and irridescent glitter and I made their antennae's with Wild Wire . A few gems and some Liquid Pearls finish off the flower centers. I really loved creating this scene, especially making the hills, so I will revisit this design again. I hope you join us this week as you could win some great OCL candy from the Color Throwdown Team! And don't forget to check out the other amazing team members!
