Warm Glow

Happy Friday!  I hope everyone is ready for the weekend…after the first full chaotic week of school I know that I need the rest!

As much as I hate to see the summer go…and really wanted to squeeze in one last beach day, I really love the fall!  This is one of my favorite images from the Sunny Harvest set from Power Poppy!

DPK_PP_LanternsGlow_wm

I stamped this with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers.  I shaded around the image with a Prismacolor pencil and oms.  I also sponged the edges of the panel with Wheat ink from a VersaMagic Dew Drop.

The paper is from the Apple Cider pad by Bo Bunny and I embellished it with a piece a burlap and added a button with some hemp twine.

Please join the Bloom Brigade this week and show us your creations!  Link up your creation HERE and you could win a free stamp set and be honored with a Power Poppy Peep of the Week title!

This is beautiful and rustic Danielle. Fall is my favorite too. I love all your shading. These look so real colored like this. Great job.

Oh, Danielle, this image is so beautifully colored! Your Chinese lanterns look like they are laying on top of the paper the way you've shaded them with the pencils and OMS. Stunning rustic feel that is enhanced by the beautiful DP and burlap with button/twine! What a beauty! Hugs!
