Berry Christmas

DPK_POD_Berrysnowman_closeup
I could not resist the new images from the Stacey Yacula Studio line over at Purple Onion Designs.   This adorable snowman reminds me of the character Spud from the Bob the Builder tv show.  Kooky and cute!

I started by stamping my image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Flourishes Classic White card stock.

I colored it with Copic markers and shaded the image with Prismacolor Pencils and oms.  I used a chunky clear glitter all over the base and to make snowflakes above the image.  I sponged around the image panel with a VersaMagic Dew Drop in Wheat before matting it.  In true Paula Williamson style I added my sentiment to the side (she’s my idol, ha!) and clipped the corners.   I wanted the card to be easy to mail so I just used some simple kraft jute with a tiny bow to embellish.  The cute holly paper is from the Recollections paper pad Holly Day Wishes.

I hope I can squeeze in the time to get a few more done as these images are so cute!  They are just begging to be colored :)

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
