Today’s Flourishes sets are Swan Lake and Life Lines. I had completed my card then couldn’t find a suitable place for a sentiment…but you will see these lovelies on my next two cards I’ll be posting Thursday and Friday!
This swan scene is so elegant a serene…I just love how peaceful it feels. Each image is separate so you can arrange your scene anyway you like. This is stamped on Flourishes Classic White card stock. with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers.
The cattails are all sparkly with glitter as well as the flower centers. The water and swan were both lightly touched with Shimmerz for a little reflective quality. I stamped additional flowers, colored and cut them out, and popped them up over this beautiful cotton linen ribbon. The image is matted on two shades of pink Prismatic card stock and the pattern paper is from the Sugared line by Basic Grey. I then finished it off with a single flat backed pearl on the ribbon.
