Fairy Hope

It’s Friday again and time for another lovely fairy to share with you from A Day For Daisies!   This is also a challenge week-use ombre.  It’s all the rage in clothing, hair, and accessories.

This is Fairy Hope. She really does remind me of a mermaid so naturally I colored her in turquoise.  Of course it’s one of my favorite colors too.

I colored her with Copic markers and then painted her body and wings with Plaid glitter paint.  I also used some Liquid Pearls in her hair.  I created the ombre paper with a Distress Ink pad in Evergreen Bough…the paper was light turquoise so I just swiped the ink on from one side and then blended it out with a sponge.  She was cut with a Spellbinders circle die and layered onto a kraft doily.  I finished her off with a rectangle button and a few enamel dots from Teresa Collins.

The design team has the most beautiful creations with these gorgeous new fairies…check them out at each blog below!

Love the ombre AND the aqua! Two of my faves, too! And with sparkle on top -- even better!
