So, we got 8 inches of snow on Monday…with another storm predicting 3-6 inches beginning around 1am Wednesday. Good for card making if I’m snowed in again, and fun for the kids too :)As I am typing this it’s not snowing yet, so only time will tell! There’s another storm on the horizon…oh boy! But if I couldn’t handle the snow I’d be living in Florida. It’s winter, what are you gonna do?! Besides, it makes it easy to keep making Christmas cards!
Now I’d like to share my Christmas card for this weeks challenge over at Merry Monday.
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Flourishes Classic White card stock and colored it with Copic markers. I used Prismacolor pencils and odorless mineral spirits to shade around the image. Then I sponged Distress Ink in Antique Linen around the image panel. It’s mounted on patterned paper from the Authentique pad Festive. I found this cool button with two holes at the top instead of in the middle and tied it with black twine. The sentiment is from Flourishes and I stamped it then hand cut the banner. It’s a little crooked, I mean, rustic!
I love these whimsical stockings! I think this Christmas card is super cute and I’m so excited that it’s only February and I’ve created 4 already this year! I am really enjoying this weekly challenge at Merry Monday!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
