Love this weeks color challenge at The Color Throwdown! I couldn’t resist playing along again. I know, right?!
I love this sweet image from A Day For Daisies and I knew it would be perfect with this palette. So, for CTD278 here is Bunny in a Rose.
I colored most of the image with Copic markers. The flower I based with R20 then shaded it with Prismacolor pencils and oms. I took a white doily and sprayed it with water then dropped Red Pepper on it from an Adirondack re-inker. I let it soak in, then blotted it off, and dried it. I love the mottled color. I used patterned paper from Basic Grey Bittersweet and some chipboard stickers that I have had for a million years! Ok, not a million, but many.
Hope everyone affected has weathered the storm…it’s all ice here, slippy and slidy! It’s real pretty to look at but tough to walk on. I’m a klutz, so my husband wouldn’t even let me go outside yesterday, lol!
Thanks for stopping by! I will have a new image from A Day For Daisies to show you tomorrow! Have a great night!

So adorable, Danielle! Gorgeous coloring with the Prismacolors! Thanks so much for playing the Color Throwdown!
What a great way to color the doily. I love that, especially with the slightly shaded effect and a bit of white edge showing. Cute bunny. Two of my faves -- critters and flowers. I've been watching your weather on the news. That's winter for you!
Too cute!
