I printed the image on Flourishes Classic White card stock and colored it with Copic Markers.
After coloring, I painted over the mermaid with Twinkling H2O in Icicles. It gave it lots of nice shimmer! I also used Star Dust Stickles to add sparkle to the flowers and around the image. Then I added lots and lots of tiny self adhesive pearls from Kaiser to her hair. You can see the sparkle and details better in the close up below.
The background was created with a Spellbinders Embossing Folder. After embossing the sea ferns I brushed white chalk ink over the raised parts to make them stand out.

I've never seen a mermaid with her baby before. This is beautiful, Danielle! Love the pearls in her hair. Very sweet.
