Flourishes Friday

Hi everyone, happy Friday!  Today it’s a Flourishes Free For All…nice way to start the weekend.
I have another card to share created using the new Bees & Blooms set.
I started by stamping the large floral image with Memento Rich Cocoa ink on Flourishes Classic White card stock.  I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and odorless mineral spirits.

After the image was c0lored I coated the surface with a VersaMark pad then poured on Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (UTEE), heat set, then repeated two more times, until I had a nice thick, shiny, even coat.    I popped it into the freezer for a few minutes then pulled it out and bent it to crack the UTEE in several places.  I then sponged on Walnut Stain Distress Ink so make the cracks stand out.

I used Fancy Tags Two from Spellbinders and an oval die from the Perfectly Pierced Victorian Ovals set for the sentiment.  The paper is from the My Minds Eye On The Bright Side paper pad.
Stop by each of the designers blogs and see what beauties they’ve whipped up today!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
