It’s almost here, yet I still needed to make one more card. I pulled out one of my favorite Easter sets from Flourishes called Easter Basket.
I started by stamping the basket on Flourishes Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I wiped off the line that is the back of the basket before stamping so it wouldn’t show when I stamped the items inside.
I masked the basket and began stamping the items inside, masking each one after stamping it and before stamping the next. I left the masks on and added some grass in the back of the basket, then removed it and stamped more in the front. It was all colored with Copic markers, and the bunny was stamped separately and cut out and popped up in front of the basket. I coated the jelly bean bag using a clear Gelly Roll pen to make it shiny like plastic.
I used Labels One and Scalloped Labels One from Spellbinders and with the die in place on the image I sponged with Distress Ink in Antique Linen. The sentiment is laid out differently on the acrylic, so I inked one word at a time and carefully stamped it on the banner die cut. The adorable printed paper is a scrapbook sheet from Reminisce that I’ve had for some time. I finished it off with some kraft jute and a button.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Check back on Friday for new samples from Flourishes and A Day For Daisies!

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, and fantastic masking.

Nice work with this Easter basket! It's a cute set. I just wish the basket with the goodies was all one image, but it's nice to have the separate images to play around with, to. You did a fantastic job with your masking.
