A Spotted Owl?

Good morning!  Kiddo’s are back to school, hubby’s back to work, and I am enjoying the silence!  I’d better get cleaning soon though so I have something to show for all my peace!
I have another adorable owl to share from A Day For Daisies.  I tried something different this time with my coloring.

I have been finding that I like the looser look of coloring, especially on whimsical images and I have been loving seeing the use of dots for shading with the Copics.  So I decided I would try that too.  Well, it needs work, but I like the technique.    I also used my blender pen to give the owls chest some feather texture.  It’s very light, but it’s there!
The patterned paper is from the MME Miss Caroline Dolled Up 6x6 pad.  The flowers are from both Prima and Recollections.  I used this weeks Deconstructed Sketch #89.  Great one!

Check out the latest release from A Day For Daisies and get your owls now!  I have several more to color up-love them!
Have  great day and thanks for stopping by!

Those owls are adorable, I love how you colored this image. Sweet papers and lovely embelishments, too. Have a wonderful Wednesday. hugs...

Absolutely some of the best coloring I've seen in this style. He looks like he's sitting in the sunshine. The feathers you created really show up. Fabulous!
