I’ve been working on some Christmas cards this week. Today I used Peace & Joy from Flourishes. I began by stamping the PEACE image on Flourishes Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers.
I sponged all around the image panel and the Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock panel beneath with Distress Ink in Antique Linen. After I colored in the image I traced over all of the flourishes with a Clear Spica Glitter Pen. I then added red Kaiser Gems to the knots in the wood like design of the letters and on all of the holly leaves. I topped a piece of Crocheted Lace Ribbon with some pom pom trim for a bit of whimsy. It’s a long card measuring 4 x 7 inches. It’s really pretty irl…sometimes it just doesn’t translate in pictures.

I was just playing with this same image last night! Love the soft colors on this, and that pom pom trim is perfection! Love the long shape too!
