For a Friend

Hello, hope all those celebrating Thanksgiving on Thursday are getting ready!  I am hosting this year, but only having two guests with my family.  Small, stressless, and fun!   I hope yours is too!
I love using a big sentiment as a focal point.  I pulled out Sentimental Favorites from Flourishes and stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Flourishes Classic White card stock.

Using Spellbinders dies Labels One I cut out the sentiment and sponged it with the die in place.  I embossed a white panel using the Flora M-Bossabilities from Spellbinders.  Then is gently sponged ink over the raised image to make it stand out.  The paper is from the MME Rosy paper pad.   I embellished the May Arts silk ribbon with a few trinket leaf pins
I am hoping for a nice day tomorrow so I can get the kids out in the yard for their Christmas picture.  I had to wait until they got their hair cut!  Do you have your Christmas cards done yet?  I gave up hand making 70+ cards each year.  Now I usually create one with the kids and the dog on it using Snapfish or Shutterfly, and then I can really get into the handful of hand mades!  Those are usually the ones that are hand delivered or mailed inside a Christmas package.  Those I really enjoy making!
Have a great day!
