I’m not really ready for it yet…but I do love it, and I love these adorable new animal images from Lili of the Valley.
I stamped the image on Flourishes Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers.
I cut out the image and mat with Spellbinders and with the die in place, I sponged around the image with a VersaMagic Dew Drop in Wheat. I used Linen Burlap ribbon and some rustic twine with a bow to add on the sentiment tag. In addition to lots of sparkly glitter added with a Quickie Glue Pen I also flocked the little penguin and his hat trim and pom pom. You can see the texture of the flocking in the picture below.
The flock on the penguin is Pewter from Martha Stewart and on his hat is Fun Flock in white. The paper is from the MME Darling Dear 6x6 pad. I love the muted masculine colors in this paper!
I have lots more of these critters and other wonderful new images from LOTV still to ink up. I have so much fun coloring these! I hope you enjoyed this and you pick up some yourself!
See you back here tomorrow for a Flourishes 10 Minute Thursday!
