Welcome back to another week of new releases from Flourishes.  Sorry I wasn’t able to provide a sample of yesterdays released set, Wedded Bliss, but you should have seen all of the samples from the rest of the design team.  They are gorgeous!  Now, on to todays new set:

What A Catch is full of masculine fishing images that are perfect for all of the men in your life!  I love the classic images and I chose to use the fish…a rainbow trout I’ve decided…could be any fish you want, just my interpretation.

I stamped my image on watercolor paper and painted it with various SU re-inkers.   I used Spellbinders dies Standard Circles Large and Labels Sixteen to cut out my image and mat.  I also inked inside the round die with Wheat ink from Versa Magic.   I added metal nail heads stickers to each corner of the die cut mat and used an EK Success wave border punch for the decorative strip on the left.  Some ribbon from my stash and twine in light and dark browns finish off the embellishments.   I used the sentiment in the set and stamped each word individually (very carefully!) and cut each out and placed them on the card in a random pattern.
