Wednesday’s Color Throwdown

swatch 135 updated

The Color Throwdown is back with a wonderful color challenge for you!  This lovely combination is from our hostess Barbara

I found this fun patterned paper from Sandylion in my stash to get my project started.

DPK_CTD135

I used Papertrey Ink new stamp set Mat Stack 4 Collection and Mat Stack 4 die to cut the image.  I used a Martha Stewart punch to create a double layer butterfly, one of vellum and one with yellow cardstock. I used some Kaiser pearls in black on the body.  I used a black Gelly Roll pen to make dots around the sentiment circle which was cut with a Spellbinders Classic Circle die.  I used this beautiful gingham ribbon in red and cream and added a bow.  Very simple card.

The design team has some fabulous projects to share so make sure you check each of them out!

Tammy~ Laura ~ Broni ~Barbara ~ Kristin ~Cathy ~ LeAnne and our March Guest Designer Keva Brown

Then get over to the Color Throwdown and enter your own!  Have a great day!
