Lets start sneaking!

Today is the the first Flourishes sneak peek for December.

Lets begin with Butterflies & Blossoms

Butteflies and Blossoms Graphic

This set contains images of Clematis, some of my absolute favorite flowers, and butterflies.  It’s another stunning floral by Marcela Hawley.  I combined today’s sneak along with the Color Throwdown colors today which are

swatch 122

While I have collected many Clematis from deep purple, to lavender and pink, and even green, I do not have any red ones.  I don’t know why because they are gorgeous!   Adding a red one will be my mission this spring!

I stamped this image on watercolor paper with Versamark Black ink and painted it with Stampin Up reinkers. I highlighted the butterfly with a Ranger Inkssentials opaque white pen and filled the flower centers with ultra fine glitter from Martha Stewart in a combination of brown and red.   I cut the image and mat with Spellbinders, the mat with Lacey Circles.  I sponged chalk ink from Memento Dew Drops in Wheat inside the circle before removing the image from the die.  Just a simple knot with some silk ribbon and a few flat backed pearls finishes off this simple layout.

Play along with the release week Winter White challenge to win the entire December release from Flourishes.  You can also pre order Butterflies & Blossoms in the store.

Check out the stunning samples from the design team and stay tuned for tomorrows new set-you’ll love it!
