That means it’s time for another weekly Color Throwdown challenge. This week these bright and energetic colors were chosen by our hostess Broni.
I decided to use my new to me set called Beary Special by Taylored Expressions. I always loved the bear hanging out of the backpack and finally broke down and bought the set.
The bear is colored with Copics and the backpack was paper pieced using a piece of Chatterbox that I have been hoarding for-eva! The background floral strip is also from the same line of Chatterbox. I used my Oval and Big Scalloped Oval Spellbinder Nestabilities for the image and the mat. The yellow background is a piece of Bazzill as I don’t have any Daffodil, was embossed with the Houndstooth folder from Cuttlebug. A piece of Papertrey Ink polkadot ribbon and a variety of Prima flowers finishes it off.
I stamped the sentiment and punched it out with a tag punch and thought I’d jazz it up with a little glitter…kinda looks like the glitter threw up on it, but hey, it’s just a tag, right? Yeah, probably will pull that off and make a new one when I use the card, lol!
