Wednesday Color Throwdown with Kitchen Sink Stamps

Hey everyone!  Welcome to another Color Throwdown.  This week our hostess Tammy has challenged us with these colors:

swatch 83

This week we are also being sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps.  They are offering a prize to one lucky random winner!  I used Giant Multi-Step Sunflower for my card.

The paper is all from Stampin Up! and I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the swirls on the green squares.  I stamped my image on white card stock using various Versa Magic inks.  I like how these pigment inks adhere and stamp nicely on clear acrylic stamps.  The image and scallop mat were cut with oval Nestabilities.  I used ribbon from Papertrey Ink under the main image and added some simple buttons and rustic twine embellishments.

Make sure you head over to the blog to see all the awesome creations from the DT and play along with us for a chance at Featured Stamper and to win and prize!  Have a great day!

This is a great card, Danielle! Very colorful and striking! I believe this is a quite hard color combo to do, but you did a fab job here!

Ack...I don't think I'll ever believe you again, Danielle! Your thoughts about your card last night were WAY OFF! I remember thinking, "I can't even imagine"...and I was right. STILL can't imagine. This is GORGEOUS! You stamped the image beautifully...I'm going to have to try out those inks. Oh, and what's the saying about great minds? Check out how I randomly tied my buttons...hmm...clever, very clever ;]
