And I am not done yet! Wow great year for weddings...bad on my wallet! Thank goodness I made this for someone else to give and I don't have to put the cash in it!
I pretty much cased this from the amazing Nichole Heady. She made this card here and I just flipped over the design! I love this flower from the In Bloom set from Papertrey.
The flower, scallop strip, and card base are all Berry Sorbet cs, the mat is Dark Chocolate, and the main panel Sweet Blush. The giver thinks the wedding colors are browns...so that's where the Dark Chocolate mat came in and I also stamped the sentiment from EveryDay Button Bits in Versafine Sepia. Now I wish I had stamped it in black or at least embossed it so it would have popped more, oh well.
The flourish is from Autum Leaves Swirls by Rhonna Farrar. I don't have the polka dot background stamp from PTI so instead I used a tiny dragonfly from Rubber Stamp Tapestry and a pencil eraser to make dots with VersaMark on the Sweet Blush panel. I used flat backed Kaiser pearls on the scallops. I shaded the flower and the leaves (leaves were stamped on Spring Moss) with Copics. I also used my Quickie Glue Pen and added some glitter on the flower. Hopefully if you click on the picture for a larger view you will see it.
Don't forget to enter to win my Blog Candy here...you have until midnight tonight! The two larger stamp sets are really nice-the photo doesn't do them justice!
