Where's the fire?

Once again just getting my High Hopes challenge in on the last day! But unlike last week, this time I will remember to link this to the HHC blog! Crazy right?!

These adorable images are of course from High Hopes. They are colored with Copics and accented with Spica pens and Ranger Inkssentials opaque white pens. One dog I stamped colored, cut out, and popped up on the main panel. Then I stamped several more on the tan panel in beige chalk ink. The main image is cut out with a rectangle nestie and sponged light blue on top and light brown on the bottom while still in the die. The fab plaid paper is from Rusty Pickle and it's called Dad's Wallet. The red polka dot is from Bo Bunny and the tan is actually the flip side of another Bo Bunny polka dot paper.

I wanted to keep this really simple for a little boy...no ribbons, bows, or anything fussy. I just stuck a button on to balance the image. I didn't have any High Hopes sentiments that were appropriate for this image (I'm gonna hafta remedy that!!) so the Happy Birthday is from a Studio G $1 set from Michaels.

I really like this sketch and I could have gone crazy and stitched all over this...so I am going to have to revisit this one again.

TGIF! Have a great weekend everyone!
