The lovely colors for this weeks Color Throwdown were chosen by Barbara. And I just happened to have the most perfect dp for it! Too bad my card is blah!
You know when you have an idea...pictured in your head, but you can't translate it to paper? That and rushing doesn't help the mojo. Tammy complained that her mojo was missing and I've decided that mine ran off with hers and they are partying somewhere warm and sunny. And I HOPE they have a really good time because when mine returns it's gonna be really busy!!Okay onto the card. I used the new Verve Visual set Up, UP, and Away for the balloon and Fairy Tales for the sentiment. The floral (and polka dot too) dp which contained ALL the colors for this weeks Throwdown is from Chloe's Closet by Making Memories. The cardstock is all SU and the image is stamped onto Neenah cs. I paper pieced the balloon and cut out some clouds and painted them with Shimmerz before popping them up over the main image. I did some stitching and some light blue inking around the white panel. The ribbon is PTI.

The colors and paper are sweet, and so is that gorgeous satin bow! You may find it blah, but I don't see the picture that was in your head, only what's on my computer screen, and it looks great to me!
