Color Throwdown #45

This weeks lovely Color Throwdown color combo is brought to us by Cathy! I was lucky enough to find this beautiful Basic Grey paper in my stash...It is from the Sultry line.
This cutie is Maggie from Whipper Snapper. I colored her up with Copics but was having a hard time getting the cup the shade of pink that I wanted so I went over it with my Prismas and OMS. The image and mat are cut with Nesties as well as the sentiment. The flowers are Primas with dew drop centers and ferns added with a Martha Stewart punch. The ribbon is from PTI and there is lots of touches of glitter all over the image. It's too bad it's so hard to capture in photos...it's sparkly and pretty irl!
You may or not not see the faint creases right through the image. It happened after I cut the image with the Nestie and went to run it through for embossing. I was so sure it was secure, but it shifted as I was running it through, and I almost cried when it came of out my machine embossed down the center. I flipped it over and ran a bone folder over the creases to push them back out. ARG! I really hate when that happens!

Anyway, I salvaged it and it ended up being okay. Whew! So make sure you stop by the other ladies blogs and see their awesome creations! Please join us with yours as well and don't forget to use keyword CTD45. Have a great day!!

So adorable! Your coloring is wonderful and I love all the flowers and dazzle you added! You can't see the crease without zooming in and knowing it's there! But, yeah, I hate when that happens too!

OMGosh! This is adorable!!! Lovelovelove that DP. You really have to look hard for the crease--wouldn't have known it was there if you hadn't mentioned it. Great card, Danielle, with your usual awesome coloring!

I got my Watermark from Karen Giron (if yours is the same I'm sure you got it from her!) I can resize mine in Adobe photoshop.

Have a great weekend! and thanks for the tip on being able to adjust the colors on my photo software - I just have to figure out how to do it!! I know the Adobe can do tons of stuff I just haven't had time to learn about!! story of my life lately! no time!

Oh, my gosh! LOVE it! And, no, I don't see the crease down the middle. I had to use a bone folder on a card the other day on which I embossed a line where it shouldn't have been. It happens. You salvaged this beautifully!
