SNOW!!! and Mojo Monday

We got dumped on today...about 14 inches, and it's so cool! I won't think so in another day or two, but right now it's in beautiful sparkling white drifts. My boys wanted to go out in it so bad, but the little guy didn't make it very long before he was frozen and wanted nothing further to d with snow! I didn't take many, or any good pictures, as I wouldn't venture off the porch. I was very comfy in my sweats just looking out the window. I really wanted to take a picture with a ruler measuring the snow on the table on my deck but I couldn't get the back door open. The picture below of the snow on my birdfeeder was at 9 am and it didn't stop snowing until about 2pm!
Because I was snowed in today I was able to complete my Mojo Monday sketch on Monday! Unheard of! I made several cards today actually and I added sparkle to them all...not that you can see any of it.

The flower image is actually 3 flowers in ascending sizes, each colored with Copics, painted with Shimmerz, cut out and layered with dimensional foam. The two patterned papers are from the Porcelain line by Basic Grey. The cardstock and ribbon are from PTI. All stamps are from Verve Visual. I added a few flat backed pearsl from Kaiser to finish it off. I made this a kind of sympathy card, as I unfortunately need them from time to time. Recently I needed two and it's never a fun occasion to make a card so if it doesn't need to be personalized it's easier to have some on hand that I can use.

For those who also got loads of snow, happy shoveling!

14 inches??!! Yikes, you did get DUMPED on. We only got like 4-6 inches...much less than they were calling for on the news (are they ever right?). Love the papers and that yummy ribbon on your card. Elegant!
