Wow, it's been more than a week since I've posted anything and I feel terrible...especially for those of you who have subscribed and might acutally look forward to hearing from me! My life is crazy busy, maybe not much more than anyone else's, but when I finally sat down to create all that came out was, well, crap. I was so disappointed with the project I created over the weekend that I can't even show it. It's sooooo boring! I will just keep looking at it until I think of something else to do to it to make it acceptable. Anyway, I will show you this instead:
I had something completely different in mind but this is what I ended up with. I am not unhappy with it, it's just not what I had wanted to do. But this gives me plenty of opportunity for a do-over. I figure I can get them now and then. This beautiful image is a from Inkadinkadoo and I borrowed this stamp from my friend, the enabler. I watercolored it using Distress inks and then went over that with h2o's to add sparkle and depth. Not even close to Ila's gorgeous coloring, but I'm trying! The patterned paper and matching twill ribbon is from Papertrey Ink and the card base is Die Cuts With A View. I added a couple of Prima flowers which I sponged a bit of Robins Egg from Colorbox on with a pretty brad from Making Memories. I added some small brads in the corner of the image as well and distressed the edges of the panels a bit. I kind think the whole thing is a bit boring, compared to the dreamy creation I was going to make! But I was really feeling bad about not posting and I wanted to make sure my few readers had something to hope for from me! I really love this image and hope to post something better with it soon! Maybe even be able to salvage that crappy project from the weekend! Have a great night!
Edited for correction: Robins Egg ink from Colorbox, not Versa Magic.
