Wedding Bells!

My family and I are attending the wedding of our neighbors and dear friends.  We are so excited for them and we are looking forward to a spectacular evening.  They know how to throw a party!
The bridal colors are black and gold…a very elegant combo that called for an elegant card.

Very simple…I started with this lovely black and white dp from Authentique called Irresistible.   I stamped congratulations on white cardstock and traced and oval and cut it out.  I used a Krylon 18k gold paint pen to add a border, then layered onto this die cut using  a fancy tags two die from Spellbinders.  I trimmed a double row of roses ribbon into a narrow one row border for the top…I thought the double row was too big.  Lastly, using a Martha Stewart punch I punched a couple dozen butterflies from black cardstock and gold glitter paper from a DCWV Mat Stack.  I made a sweeping cluster up the right side.  It was just the touch of gold I was looking for!  I used some black diamond stickles on the black butterflies and a I scattered black and clear gems between them for a little extra sparkle.
Well, gotta get ready for the wedding event of the year!  I hope you are doing something fun this weekend too!  Have a great day!
