Happy Little Giraffe

I am so happy to be able to share this image with you today.  A Day For Daisies has released new images and this is Happy Little Giraffe.  It’s also a challenge week and your challenge is to keep it monochrome.
Is this a sweet face or what?!

I began by printing the image in a brown tone instead of black to keep with the monochromatic palette.  I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencil and oms, then I shaded around the image panel with Distress Ink in Brushed Corduroy.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the border and ribbon with a Prima flower with a Kaiser pearl center and leaves and branches I punched out.  The paper is from the Vintage Finds paper pad from Teresa Collins.
The design team ladies have beautiful samples to share so make sure you visit each of them, then head over to the ADFD blog to play along with the monochrome challenge!

Yes, that's a sweet face! I love this guy and your wonderful, warm monotone card. How do you print in brown? I should probably know...wishing I could print in brown sometimes. This is such an adorable image!
