Fall Fairy

Good morning!  I know there are still a couple of weeks left of summer, but the start of the new school year always moves me into Autumn mode. My favorite season!
Today I am sharing a new digital image I picked up from Sugar Nellie called Hazel and Nutty.  I can hardly stand how cute she is and that tiny squirrel, ooh, I want to squeeze him!

I colored the image with Copic markers and cut out with a Wonky Rectangle die from Spellbinders.  After coloring, I thought the green was a bit too bright, so I went over it and her wings with Twinking H2O in Bronze, very watered down.  It toned down the brightness and gave her a nice shimmer!
I sponged with Wheat ink from a VersaMagic Dew Drop  with the die still in place and added more sparkle with Stickles.   The paper is from the Bo Bunny Apple Cider pad and the leaves were die cut from different card stock using Fall Foliage from Spellbinders.  I finished it off with a fluffy bow in the perfect shade of rusty red with seam binding from my friend Sherry Eckblad
Thanks for stopping by!  Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!
