Weddings, Weddings, Everywhere!

Seems like the older I get, the more weddings I attend.  All those kids are growing up, darn it!  I love a good wedding though, and this is gonna be a fun one :)
I inked up lovely Uptown Girl Brigitte the Beautiful Bride from Stamping Bella for the bridal shower card with Memento ink in Desert Sand.  It made a light image that keeps the finished product soft and sweet!

After coloring with Copics I shaded around the image with Prismacolor pencils and oms.  Then I added LOTS of glitter…with a Quickie Glue Pen and ultrafine iridescent glitter.   Her hair looks really red in this close up, but it’s really more brown.
The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and it’s mounted on vellum punched with a scallop circle.

She’s so pretty!  The wedding is next month and I can’t wait to ink up Uptown Couple Brett and Brenda Get Married!
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back here on Friday for a post with A Day For Daisies.  Bye!

Oooo this is such a sweet, soft, romantic card. I must remember to try using brown or grey to stamp image instead of black every time. VERY PRETTY card.

This is utterly amazing, Danielle! Beautiful soft colors, and LOVE her auburn hair! I would never think to use a pale ink for the image, but it really gives an amazing look to the finished card. Beautiful, beautiful work!
