Vintage Babies

Happy Friday!  Is it hot where you are?  Sweltering here on Long Island!  I am so ready for the predicted thunderstorms that are supposed to break this heat wave. Bring ‘em on!!!
Another fun bunch of images coming your way from A Day For Daisies!  Today is the re-release of Vintage Babies. I am using Vintage Baby Coat today.  I printed the image twice, once on white card stock and again on blue card stock that I used for her hat and coat.

I colored her skin with Copic Markers and used Warm1 and Warm3 to shade the coat and hat and shoes.  Before applying the coat to the bottom image, I glued down a piece of lace to peek out from underneath.  I used Spellbinders dies to cut the patterned paper, all from the MME 6x6 pad, The Sweetest Thing – Tangerine.
The lovely ladies of the ADFD design team have inspirational samples to share…so head on over to each blog and check them out!
Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Adorable little one. I agree, we can not cool off soon enough to make me happy. (We seem to be in the same weather pattern you are.) UGH.

I love how you added that bit of lace under her coat. Very vintage! We're having a cool wave here. Sunny, but windy and chilly because we're so close to the bay. I could use just a little bit more heat.
