King of the Pool

Hi everyone! I hope the start of the summer is going great… Today is the last day of school for my boys.  It’s just a few hours, then my peace is over, lol!  At least I can sleep in :)
We celebrated my 17 year old nephews birthday recently and I made him a card with this super fun image called Pool Shark from Whipper Snapper Designs
I stamped the image on Flourishes card stock and colored it with Copic Markers.

I coated his sunglasses and bubbles with Crystal Effects for a little shine and dimension.   I used Scalloped Labels One from Spellbinders and added some soft color with chalk ink with the die still in place.   The sentiment is from the Underwater Sentiments by AmyR for C.C .Designs.   I added it with a button to some Rustic Jute Button Twine.
The best part of this card, was after it was delivered to the recipient.  I got a text from my nephew when I got home that said he really appreciated all of the effort that I put into making this card for him.  How sweet was that?  He’s a great kid!  Almost a man!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

This image cracks me up! Love that he's wearing one of those little floaty tube things. Very cute! Your nephew was very thoughtful to send you such a nice message.
