Now on to our challenge… Denise Marzec is our Timeless Tuesday Challenge hostess this week and for her challenge this week, we want to see you use some "BLACK ACCENTS" (FTTC219) on your card or project. Let's see you use some black matting, black die-cut images, black ribbon, or try the ever-popular "chalkboard" technique that's popping up all over the blogging world. Today we have both our Flourishes Finest Design Team AND our Friends of Flourishes Team sharing their "Black Accents" inspirations with you!
I stamped the image on Flourishes Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and shaded around it with Prismacolor pencils and oms.
I used the Deckle Edge Rectangle die from Spellbinders to cut out my image and sponged inside the die with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I added black rhinestones and glitter to the feathers on her hat and a black and silver gem flourish from Prima behind the image. The paper and large black gem are from the Vintage Finds 123 Create Kit and I added a bit of black jute to it.
Take a moment and leave some love on all of our designers' blogs.
