And Happy New Year!
We celebrated my son’s 7th birthday the day after Christmas. While he doesn’t yet mind that his birthday is just the day after Christmas, I know he will eventually. I always feel bad trying to make a festive birthday amidst twinkling lights, reindeer, and candy canes. Do you share your birthday with Christmas? How do you do it?
I just adore my Whipper Snapper Designs images! I loved coloring up this adorable image called Birthday Gopher.
I stamped the image on Flourishes Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copics. I cut a square around the image leaving part of the balloon outside the frame. I used Prismacolor pencils to shade around the image and sponged the edges of the panel with a VersaMagic Dew Drop in Wheat.
The patterned paper is from the MME Life of the Party pad. I love the tiny flag banner pattern. Lastly I used a clear Gelly Roll pen to make the balloon, nose highlight, and teeth shiny.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Oh perfect card! Hope your DS had a wonderful birthday. I know some people choose to celebrate their half birthday so June 26th instead... Then everything isn't all together.
Opps wasn't quite finished... I love the DP with the flags on it. The image is really cute too. Happy New Year!
