Good afternoon! Today I have an oldie but goodie to share. I don’t show my wood mounted stamps much love these days, so I rummaged through the “bird” box and pulled out this cutie from Inkadinkado. I paired it with this weeks Deconstructed Sketch 85.
I began by stamping my image on Flourishes Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring it with Copic markers. I sponged softly around the image with Wheat ink from a VersaMagic Dew Drop and added lots of glittery sparkle.
I found this fun balloon paper at Michaels yesterday…it’s from Recollections and I picked up several more sheets with great designs on them that I had never seen before, but were on clearance. Too bad I missed them or I would have bought more! The polka dot background is a scrap and I can’t remember who’s it is…and the banner was made with a scrap from MME Life of the Party. I used a Martha Stewart punch to make the loopy border on the side and popped up the top polka dot balloon.
I shot a close up to show the sparkle, but it just wasn’t happening today…I couldn’t get the lighting right and was too lazy too move around to a new area. I have a very busy day today and a lot to get done before we head out to a surprise 50th birthday party this evening. I am looking forward to this!
Anyway, there is a lot of glitter on this and it’s pretty…I will try and reshoot and get a better picture to show later.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
