World Card Making Day!

Join Flourishes this World Card Making Day for a little sensory overload when creating!
5 Senses Challenge - WCMD
We want you to tap those brain cells and think about how you could use all five senses to make a creation.
Use vibrant color to be a "sight" for the eyes. Use something sweet to eat (food images or embellishments) to pique that sense of smell and taste. Use texture to satisfy that sense of touch or use something noisy - die cut machine, punches, eyelets, embossing to use your sense of hearing in the process.
I chose the sense of touch.  Although my designs are usually simple, I really love to add texture.  I began with Dear Santa.
I stamped the hat on Flourishes Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers.

After coloring the hat I added red flock to it.  I used a Quickie Glue Pen and added it in small sections so the glue would not dry before I got the flock down.   Then I used Marvy Liquid Applique on the brim and pompom.  I used a Spica Pen on the bells and Clear Glaze Gelly Roll pen on the berries.
I tried to get a close up to show the flocking, but it wasn’t too successful…but it’s there and fuzzy and fun!

I finished by using black jute and a rusty bell that holds the sentiment tag.   The patterned paper is all from Authentique Festive pad.
Link up your creation over on the Flourishes blog when you're done using our Inlinkz widget and you'll be in the running to win a fun-filled goody bag full of stamp sets, and goodies! If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FLLCWCMD12. So, use your senses and get those fingers inky. We can't wait to see what you create! You have until Tuesday, October 9th at 6PM to enter. We'll announce the winner on Wednesday October 10th!
