Lets get natural

Naturally Merry Graphic
Todays beautiful new set from Flourishes is Naturally Merry.  There’s a really big and beautifully detailed pine cone that has so many possibilities…as you will see when you visit the Senior Design Team!
So, of course, I stamped the pine cone image with Memento Tuxedo Black on Kraft paper and colored the image with Copic markers.  I highlighted the seed scales (like that?  I looked it up!)with a white pen and glitter.

I sponged Jumbo Java from a Versa Magic Dew Drop around the edges of the image panel and then distressed it a bit.   The mat is a Spellbinders die from Romantic Rectangles.   The gorgeous patterned paper is from the Authentique Festive pad.   The ribbon is tied with kraft jute and a red button for a little pop.
Copic Collections used are:
Greens-Gr-3Walnut Collection

"Seed scales", huh? I learn something new every day! Usually on a papercraft blog it is a papercrafting thing, but today it is a little bit of botanical vocabulary -- thanks!

Very pretty! Great idea with stamping on the kraft, never think to do that. The white seedlings as you said look great!
