A Little Passion

Passion Flower Graphic

In a big flower!  Passion Flower is the latest floral set from Flourishes designed by the very talented Marcella Hawley.

They are so exotic and come in several colors so there are so many ways to interpret these beauties!

I chose the large floral image in the set and only used part of it by die cutting it with a Standard Circles Large from Spellbinders.

DPK_SneakPeek_PassionFlower_wm

I colored it with Copic markers and shaded around the image with Prismacolor Pencils and oms and sponged with the die in place using a VersaMagic Dew Drop in Wheat.    The mat behind the image was created with a Picot Edge Circle die.   I stamped an additional large flower, colored it, and popped it up on the original.

All of the patterned paper is from the MME A Beautiful Life paper pad.  The lavender ribbon is May Arts Silk Ribbon and I used a piece of a gem flourish in the corner of the layout as well as some accenting the left panel.

I really like the black oval rather than the "expected" white. Really makes your stamped image stand out.
