Hey friends, welcome to Color Throwdown #190. This week Lori is our hostess with the mostess and she picked this soothing color palette!
I went a bit brighter with my colors, but I still kept to the palette of turquoise, green, yellow, and gray. I had printed this fun digi image called Snorkel Bunny from Tiddly Inks. This image is just too much fun!
I started by coloring the image with Copic markers. I used light colors and basically base coated it with markers, then I deepened the colors with Prismacolor Pencils and oms.
I cut the image out using Spellbinders, the Classic Squares LG for the main image and then Postage Stamps for the yellow mat. The paper is a scrap and I can’t remember whose it is. I used a Fiskars wave border punch for the bottom and hand cut a banner for the sentiment which is from Underwater Sentiments from All That Scraps.
I used Marvy Liquid Applique and glitter on the whitecaps and Crystal Effects on the diving mask, which you can see in the close up below.
