Get ready for Flourishes May sneak peeks!

Hydrangea Graphic

Lets begin with Hydrangea.  One of my favorite blooms!  This set contains are very large and lovely bouquet and several smaller blossoms and sentiments that are all beautiful!

In addition I am using this weeks Color Throwdown challenge #191 being hosted by Lynn.

For my card I chose the large cluster of blooms and stamped it on water color paper.  It was painted with re-inkers and a paint brush.  I also shaded all around the image with a lovely soft turquoise but I couldn’t seem to get it to translate in the photo.

I used paper from the Basic Grey Wisteria pad and the Lacey Circles die from Spellbinders.   I also used the border die from the Parisian Accents set at the bottom.  The trims are May Arts Silk ribbon in lavender and May Arts Crocheted Lace finished with a button and some twine.  The hydrangea blooms are from Prima…those big tins that were so very popular a few years ago…I have 4 of them!
