It’s release day!

Hello Baby Graphic

Hello Baby!  Ooh, I must admit, I am so loving this adorable scene! Very sweet, vintage book illustration like.  Is that even a description?  I am waiting to see a bunny come hopping along :)

I stamped my image on Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock and colored it with Copics.  I trimmed the image and layered it on a Spellbinders die cut using Classic Scalloped Rectangles LG.   I sponged the panel with Distress Ink in Antique Linen and added subtle color to the background with some chalks.

All of the fun patterned paper is from Simple Stories the Baby Steps pad.  After layering all the matted pp I added a piece of yellow twill and a few buttons.  I also poked two leaf pins into the arrangement and used a Spellbinders Nested Pennants die for the sentiment.

I have a niece who’s expecting, and although she doesn’t yet know the sex of the baby, I think I might be leaning a bit more boy with that blue onesie!  Okay, girls can wear blue too :)

This is so sweet! You're right, it is like a vintage book illustration. Maybe that's why I like it so much. The sponging on the focal image makes it look more vintage as well, coordinating beautifully with that lovely patterned paper. I wish I had more occasion to make baby cards! LOVELY!
