Flourishes Friday Free For All!

Happy Friday!  This was a week of catching up after the holiday vacation and trying to get back to normal.  I’m almost out from under the dirty laundry ;)

Today is a free for all at Flourishes and I couldn’t resist using the beautiful lily of the valley image from the Botanical Bookplates Vol. 2.   It is a bridal shower card for my husbands cousin’s daughter.  Whew, that’s a mouthful.  He has a huge family and we all love to get together and have big parties-so looking forward to another fun wedding this year!

I began by stamping the image twice on Flourishes Classic White card stock.  One image I colored with Copic markers and cut out using Spellbinders Classic Oval LG die then matting it with a Floral Ovals die.  On the other image I selected individual flowers and colored them, cut them out, popped them up on the original image, and added lots of ultra fine glitter.    You can really see the dimension (and the sparkle) in this picture below.

All of the patterned paper is from the Bonjour paper pad by Kaiser.  I used three ribbons on the left side: May Arts Crochet RibbonFaux Suede Ruffle, and a white trim from a local craft store.    I added a Pink Paislee butterfly charm and a Prima Petal Pin.  The bow was made with a sheer ribbon similar to this Sheer Ruffled Edge ribbon.  I used a Martha Stewart punch to make the border on the right side.  The Best Wishes sentiment is from the Orchids set and it’s stamped on a die cut from the Bonjour paper pad.

This is your last chance to get the April New Release Bundle at 10% off, so don’t delay and get them today!

Come see the beautiful projects from our design team today!

Now, have a great weekend!

Lily of the Valley is one of my favorite flowers. They remind me of growing up. We used to have some in our garden.. This is breath taking. Love the softness as always.

Danielle, I was just looking on Yahoo, your card caught my eye and I knew I had to let you know how special it is.
I love lilies of the valley and miss them terribly. Your card gives a very realistic rendition of how delicate and dressy they look. I was amazed how well the butterfly background paper compliments the flower. You have done (as always) a stunning job. This will be a treasered keepsake!
