Flourishes Friday Focus

FYI:  I just wanted to let you know that I have removed the comment verification from my blog.  I know that blogger made it more difficult by adding a second word...so if anyone skips leaving a comment because of that, it's no longer required.  And I'd love to hear from you!!

TGIF!  Ah let the weekend begin!  Today at Flourishes we are focusing on Irish Blessings.  This beautiful set is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or any occasion that warrants good luck and lots of love!
I started by stamping the bouquet on Flourishes Classic White card stock and coloring it with Copic markers. The centers of the leaves and flowers were dressed up with some sparkle from Spica glitter pens.  I then cut out the image and popped it up on a die cut Standard Circles large and Lacey Circles from Spellbinders.  The coordinating border was made using one side of the large Nested Lacey Pennants die.

All of the paper is from a 6x6 Making Memories pad that I’ve had for years…I can’t believe I still have some left!  The dark purple mat is a piece of card stock from Prism.  I love the texture of this paper.  The banner used for the sentiment is also from Spellbinders and the ribbon is Cotton Linen in white. I finished it with a button and some rustic twine.

Head on over to each of the dt blogs below to see their creations with this beautiful set!  And have a great weekend!

Loving it. I find cards for St, Patricks day hard. Not sure why, except I do not use much green in creating and have very FEW images that are appropriate. Your card is very pretty and could be used for an time Good Luck wishes are to be sent. Have a wonderful weekend. hugs....
