Welcome to the Color Throwdown challenge #146! Tammy is our hostess this week and she’s a got a fresh citrus palette for us!
I had the perfect paper for palette which is from the Café Mediterranean mat stack from DCWV. I cut strips of patterned paper and stitched them to the ledger paper background panel. I used a Martha Stewart grass border punch and Bazzill embossed cardstock to make the grass. I made my adorable flower using the pinwheel die and coordinating sentiment from the Pinwheels die and stamp set from Lil’ Inker Designs. After adding the sentiment, which I cut my own flag for, I felt like my card still needed something else, which is where my button caterpillar came in. I used a Micron pen and drew in some tiny legs and antennae. Just a touch of glitter from some Stickles on the edge of each petal finished off my flower!
The team has some wonderful samples this week, so please make sure you visit each one! And head on over to the Color Throwdown blog to play along with these fun colors!
