Hey everyone welcome to Color Throwdown #144 hosted by Cathy! These fresh colors are sure to make you smile!
I pulled out my Basic Grey Green at Heart paper pad to create my kite using the Die-Namics Fly A Kite die from My Favorite Things.
My clouds were cut with a cloud die from PaperTrey Ink the Cloud 1 & 2 Die collection. And last but not least…the banner die and sentiment are from the Sentiment Flags set from Lil’ Inker Designs.
I created the background panel by spraying white cardstock with Glimmer Mist in Autumn Skies. I cut curved pieces from a scrap of Bo Bunny dot paper and stitched along the edges. I also added lots of glitter to my clouds with a glue pen and some superfine iridescent glitter from Judikins.
I’d also like to welcome our June Guest Designer Betty Wright! Please visit the Color Throwdown for the challenge details and to play along with us. There’s lots of inspiration to be found at each designers blog too, so check ‘em out!

This is such a fun card, Danielle! Love the focal, dimensional, kite image and how you added your sentiment to the tail. The stitched hills and layered clouds are the perfect accents. ADORABLE ♥
