It’s release time again!

Flourishes is going to blow you away, yet again, with this months gorgeous new stamp sets!

First up:

This beautiful floral, designed by the ever so talented Marcella Hawley, is going to knock your socks off! Most of the design team couldn’t put it down once stamping began! Let me share my first creation with this set.

I pulled all of my colors from the October Afternoon line Material Girl. I stamped the vase of zinnia’s on watercolor paper and painted it with various SU reinkers. I used my Spellbinders die Lacey Circles for the mat. The lace is a piece I had leftover from the 123Create 5th Ave kit. I created a bow with some narrow sheer green ribbon that’s been in my stash foreva, and I topped it with a Websters Pages sparkler. I wanted the centers to really stand out and my first thought was Flowersoft…but I wanted something less whimsical and began digging around in my stash. I found I have many containers of microbeads that were being neglected. I filled the flower centers with Diamond Glaze by Judikins then poured clear microbeads on top. While it was still wet I also poured on ultra fine glitter in Apricot by Recollections that Michaels is now carrying. It is very fine and just added the perfect amount of sparkle! It was really hard to capture in a photo, but hopefully below you can see it better.
