It’s a Garden Party!

Garden Fresh Graphic

Now, I know that the majority fell madly in love with the Zinnias set, and rightly so, but my heart is in the veggies, lol! I love to garden and every year I try new plants, flowers and veggies, and I just love these images-they speak to me. This is Garden Fresh from Marcella Hawley. She just makes these good for you vegetables good to look at too!

My first card showcases the carrots!

I swiped this fun sketch from Paula Williamsons blog. I don’t remember the actual post, although the card featured a Mo Manning image…sorry folks! I stamped my image on Flourishes Classic White card stock and colored it with Copics. I used the Spellbinders die Classic Ovals for the image and Classic Scallop Oval LG for the mat. I very carefully stitched around that oval…sweating and holding my breath! For the sentiment I die cut a doubled ended banner with a PTI die and folded in each end so the center sentiment is in front and center. Some buttons in coordinating colors tied with a piece of rustic twine is a simple embellishment.

In addition to this stamp set there are recipe cards and labels in .pdf format to go along. Below I printed up one of the recipe cards to use with the beet image.

I stamped my beets on Flourishes classic white card stock and colored them with Copics. I used my Spellbinders classic rectangle dies to cut out my image and inked with the die still in place with VersaMagic in Wheat. I used paper from the Off Beat line by Basic Grey…I think it’s a radish on the paper, but it so close and so cute! I used Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants die to cut out the sentiment and mat.

This is the inside of the card. I thought you could just flip over the fold and the recipe stands up right on the counter while you’re cooking. I printed out the recipe card from the Fresh Recipes .pdf on Flourishes Classic White card stock and masked off around the outside of the stamping area and stamped the beet image, and again colored with Copics.

This is the set that I couldn’t put down…and I have more to share, but you have to wait!

The design team came up with some clever and wonderful creations so make sure you hop on over and see them all!

Wow! Love how you did the recipe card inside the card! Can't get over that. So awesome! I feel the same about these images. Friends can expect to receive vegetable cards from me... Your carrots card is fabulous, too. These are all the warm and wonderful colors I've come to anticipate from you. Nice, Danielle!

Love both cards, and how all of you have used these images on the receipe cards. Was confused at first, thought that it was one stamp, but after reading I see that they are seperate images and sentiments also. These are perfect for receipe cards and kitchen decor.
