A Charming Post

Country Charm Sneak 3 copy

We don't need to tell you that tags and labels are two of the trendiest items to hit the card making market in a long time! And, to help you add style and pizzazz to your creations, Flourishes has teamed up with Spellbinders Paper Arts to make sure you have the perfect set of stamps to match a darling set of tag style dies. Wonderfully whimsical and reminiscent of Grandma's calico prints, Flourishes Country Charm Labels set offers three labels that coordinate perfectly with Spellbinders Grommet Tags (S4-322). Designed by Becky Fleck, you'll also find 6 beautiful sentiments and 4 accent stamps to dress up your labels! Pair that with Flourishes Country Charm Borders and you have the perfect set to make darling note cards in minutes. Flourishes coordinating Country Charm Borders set features five border strips that match the labels set to a tee. What fun!

I was going for an awning effect here…kinda feel like I fell short.  Didn’t really translate the way I had it in my brain.  Anyway, pink and black are a classic combo, then throw in polka dots and you can’t go wrong!  I used Cotton Linen ribbon which I ran through the grommets on the label which was cut with a Spellbinders Grommet Tags die.  I added a button threaded with black floss to each end.  A sparkly flourish from Queen and Co peeks out from underneath.  I felt like it needed more hence the black roses.  Not sold on them, but it wasn’t getting any better, lol!   Anyway, I stamped the label on pink first, cutting it out with the Spellbinders Grommet Tags die, then stamped again on white cardstock and cut out just the middle, which I also stamped the sentiment on, and adhered it over the original.  I love the casual elegance of these sets!

Both the Spellbinders and Flourishes design teams are joining forces for a fun-filled show and tell blog hop! Make sure to hop on over and see....

Another person who loves polka dots! I collect them in paper and fabric. (Don't we all?) And the mixing of pattern and the dots works really well with the Country Charms Flourishes labels and borders.
