Wednesdays Color Throwdown

This week our hostess is Laura and she has this lovely color combo for us inspired by the Stella Rose collection from MME called Mabel.

I don’t have that paper pad in my sticky little fingers yet, but my DCWV Mediterranean Café paper stack worked perfectly!

I used a frame and sentiment and the sweet little bird from two different Inkadinkado sets. I stamped the frame and sentiment on Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock and cut it out with a Spellbinders classic oval. I inked inside the die while it was still in place with Pumpkin Spice Versa Magic chalk ink with a sponge. I stamped the bird on the same cardstock and colored it with Copic markers and cut it out. It’s popped up on the oval which is also popped up. I added a bunch of orange flowers from various makers and used a button and some tiny gems for their centers. The pretty trim was white but I colored it with a E43 Copic which was a perfect match to the kraft paper.
